Theology of the Body
Discover God's plan and purpose for your life
Spend one weekend exploring Theology of the Body with Christopher West.
Eight sessions that connect ancient wisdom to your actual life, what you’re really looking for, and why you exist.
No matter where you are in life or faith – questions, doubts, and honest searching welcome.
Christopher West and Theology of the Body
Theology of the Body is St. John Paul II’s revolutionary teaching about human dignity, love, and the “master plan” stamped into our very bodies. Christopher West is a world-renowned author and speaker who makes dense theology accessible and connects ancient wisdom to everyday life.
This eight-part study is designed to give you a solid understanding of God’s plan for humanity—and help you make sense of the deepest longings of your heart.
Eight sessions, real questions
Over the weekend, with help from Christopher West, we will walk through:
- Why did God make humans?
- What does it mean to be made in God’s image?
- Why did God give us a body? What do our bodies reveal about our origin, purpose and destiny?
- How to make sense of desire, freedom and commitment
- How to live our human calling to love, whether in marriage or in singleness
Each session includes 30 minutes of teaching followed by 30 minutes of small group discussion—time to process, ask questions, and connect with others wrestling with the same things.

Questions you might have
- Who is this for? If you have a body, Theology of the Body is for everyBODY.
- Do I need to be Catholic? Nope. Most attendees are Christian from various backgrounds, but anyone is welcome even if you don’t identify with a faith.
- What if I’m skeptical about Catholic Church teaching? Perfect. Bring your doubts and questions – that’s exactly what this weekend is for. We’re exploring the “why,” not just repeating the “whats.”
- Do I have to come at 6pm for pizza on Friday? Nope. Doors open at 6pm if you want to eat and meet people, but the course officially starts at 7pm.
- That’s a lot for one day on Saturday. Will I be fried? It’s intense but well-paced. Breaks are built in, food is provided, and the small group discussions give you time to process. People consistently say the day flies by.
- What if I can’t make the whole weekend? We’re really asking for a full weekend commitment – it matters for you and for your small group. But we get that life happens, so if something genuinely unavoidable comes up, email us at [email protected].
- Is this worth giving up my weekend? We think so. You’ll get frameworks for understanding relationships, purpose, and freedom that you’ll use for the rest of your life.
- Can I get financial help? Yes. Email [email protected] if cost is a barrier. We have limited scholarships available. Don’t let money be the reason you can’t come.
- What’s the vibe? Quality content, relaxed atmosphere. Expect engaging teaching, honest conversations.
