The John Paul II Centre for Life is celebrating 15 years of service to the Diocesan and wider community, upholding and protecting life, helping to strengthen marriage and family. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported our mission throughout this time.
Competition for Children
We are hosting a competition for children aged 8-12 years which gives them the chance to learn more about Pope Saint John Paul II, his personal attributes, his contributions to the Church and the world, and why he remains a worthy role model and relevant figure.
It is little known that Pope Saint John Paul II wrote a letter to children, with a poignant plea that they commit themselves to pray for peace. This is a message made ever more salient by current world events.
The competition offers children not only the chance to learn about this great saint, but also to enter into the magnificent challenges he issued: Be not afraid; be holy; protect and defend life!
